My harvests

I have stayed in CSUF for nearly 2 months. During these days I met many a friend, and I have also learned a lot from them. Mabey they didn`t know that ... ...

Some of our friends are young, but they are mature. They know what they want and what should do. I am not a person who can always think everything very well. I have no clear plan for my future, even though major; Some are very friendly and outgoing. I like persons who are friendly that will be easy to communicate. I want to be taht kind of persons, but sometimes I am not outgoing enough. I want to talk with the others, but I do not how to start. Some study very hard. As students, study is the most important duty. When I saw the different score, it told me that I should study hard, or you can not catch up with others; Some........

I want to thank all my friends. I really have a good time with you and I hope our friendship will be forever. These days` experience will be my treasure. Thanks to everyone!

The Last Party

Every year,we have a lot of parties. The one which impross me deeply is the last party for my high school friends.

In July of this year, we finish our high school study. At first, we wanted to travel together to celebrate graduation, but this idea had to be given up. We didn`t have enough time to travel. Finally, we decided to have a party instead of traveling.

On that day, we went to the restraund to have dinner firstly. And during the dinner we talked a lot about our past three years` school life, both happiness and sadness. Then we played some games which we often played before. Mabey that would be the last time we could play together.
Next, we went to KTV. At first, we had made a deal that no one was allowed to cry. So we all tried our best to control our emotion. In the KTV, we put our sadness into the songs. After singing, we danced. In fact, none of us was good at dancing. But we did have fun together. Whereas the happy ambience increased my sadness. Finally,we cried. We all treasure our friendship so much.

I will never forget that day. I hope someday we can get together again. Good luck, my dear friends!

Earthquake Practise

Hi, my dear friends.

I think you haven`t forgotten the earthquake practise. Personaly, I felt disappointed in this practise.

Earthquake is really terrible. In early this year, an 8 degree earhquak happened in Sichuan province in China. Many persons died in that earthquake....

We had better know some common senses of earthquake. Next I want to show you the pictures of the earthquake practise. I took them by phone, so it is not very clear. Sorryabout that.

Meggie Cleary

Meggie Cleary is the heroine of the book, "The Thorn Birds", which wrote by Colleen McCullough. The book is about the impermissible love, between Priest Ralph and Meggie.

Meggie`s whole life was unlucky. From she was a little girl, her brother always broke her toys,
and in school nuns beat her everyday. But she never cried, because her father told her , "Regardless of which Krishna Riga children suffer a rattan, even whimper out, I can not be allowed. The same is true for you, and Megiddo. No matter, she hit more than you play hard, you do not have to sing noise." When she grow up, she was brave enough to face her brothers`,
parents` and son`s death. That is the most important thing which I want to learn. When we
are in trouble, we should be brave to live.

Another thing impressed me most is Meggie`s persister in love. I can`t say she is right to persist the illegal love, but I am happy she didn`t give up her love. If she chose another one to marry, she would never be happy. In fact, a tragic but never-forgotten love is much better than a family without love. No matter how bad the end was, she still had the great memory, That is enough. The spirit of insisting the things that we support is worth for us to learn.

I want to use the sentence from the "The Thorn Birds" to end my essay, and I love these words very much.

"There is a bird in the world, singing his life only once, but I find going to destroy it from the tree only to find it is necessary to give up. Chairman Mao

Mao Zedong was the first chairman in China. He is the "God" of Chinese persons. Even though he has been deed for a long time , he still is deep seated in our minds. Because he made a lot of contributions to our country. I list two of his important events as follows:

To begin with, he lead persons to overthrow the landowner. Sixty years age, the famers in China did not have freedom to do what they wanted. They must follow the landowner, and they could not to say "NO". Mao Zedong encouraged them to fight with th landowner and told them that they all should have freedom. He lead them to fight with the landowner, and finally they won. From that time, everyone in China has freedom.

Secondly, he liberated the whole of China. On Octorber 10th, 1949, in Tiananmen square,Chairman Mao announced to all the world that People`s Republic of China was established. Since then, we have our own country. And now China is still the communist country.

From what I have stated abouve, you may safely find that Mao Zedong has really done a lot for our country. And that is the reason why I take him as the hero.

My life in L.A.

I am the one who always want to try new things. I decided to come to America before I graduated. Just cause I want to feel new study surrounding, to understand new custom,and know more persons... ...


I have been living in L.A. for almost 2 months. I have a strong adaption ability so that I accept the American life easily. I am so enjoyable to try different countries` food that I have been fat a lot. That is really terrible. I have to give up this hobby.


I didn`t feel any difference between America and China till last night. Last night I went back home a little late. When I rode on the street,I really felt scared. I suddenly found that I was in an unknown circumstance and I knew no one. On the other hand,in China we finished class very late every day,almost 9 o`clock. When I came back home,I didn`t feel scared. Because I know there very well... ...


I will try my best to know more about U.S.. Mabey 1 year later ,I can go night ride alone... ...

My Introduction

Hello,guys and guils,I want to introduce myself to you.

My name is Liu Baichen,and I am also called by my English name,Elaine.So you can call me Elaine.In the summer of 1989,a baby was born quietly in a medium-sized city in China.That`s me.As the only girl in my family,my grandpa took me as the apple of his eye.So he gave me the name Chen which means jewelry.In fact, it sounds like a boy`s name.

In July of this year, I finished my senior high school study.Because my major is management,I prefer American university to the one in Shanghai.In my opinion,America is the finance center,so the best financial courses can be found here.

When I was younger,I really wanted to be a linquist.Unfortunately,I gave up my dream.I found that it`s too hard to learn different kinds of languages.But now I am still interested in languages.
