To be independent

I have received a lot of advise, but the best one among I have had is

given by my father. He told me to be an independent girl.


I am not an independent person. When I do something, I always want

to rely on someone else, not really rely, just want to have a mate. I was

afraid of doing a thing just by myself. One day, my father talked with

me seriousely. He taught me that no one can always stay with me, and

if I am always like that, that will make him disappointed and so on...


After that, he did a set of things to make me independent, such as kick

me off from home, study in another city just by myself and so on, but

not everything worked. As a result, one day he suddenly told me to

study abroad. I am sure that learning how to be independent must be

one of the most important reasons why he sent me here.


Now I am learning how to be independent. Scarlett, who is the heroine

in "Gone with the wind", is my idol right now. To be an adult is my

short-term goal ... ...

My Reaserch --- Envy

This is my first time to write a research. I have never worte a research

even in Chinese. I got the topic by accident.


It seems that envy insists among girls widely. I am really curious about

why girls are easy to be envy. There are not to much information in

Wikipedia. This topic seems so academic that I have to find another

wedsit to get more information. Maybe it is a little hard to write a

research in this topic. Someone advised me to change an easy topic

or a topic about my major. But personally, this is my first time to do

a research, so I prefer a topic which I am interested in.


I hope I can finish it favourably, and the same as everyone in our

American ... ... Food

America is a big country, but if you wanna find some American style food

is a little difficult and the most famouse one is fast food.


No matter how many calories it has, I still love it very much! If let my

friends and I choose some American food, probly fast food is the only

thing we can think of. It is different from our hometown. There are a lot

of different kinds of fast food restraunts, such as Weddy`s, Denny`s,

In-N-Out, Burger King.... ...


Which one do you like better? I have a survey of our international

students` favourite fast food. The top two are In-N-Out and Carl's Jr.

The reasons are very interesting. One of the reasons is you can just find

them in US. Someone motioned that they a nice memory in the fast-food

restaurant. I guess he met his first girlfriend there… French fries and

double-cheese burgers are wildly chosen by them as their favourite

dishes. Here is a little warm tip. When you eat fast food , you had better

notice the calories, because it is easy to get fat.


I know nowadays people have a trend that they prefer healthy food better,

but not all the healthy food has good tasty. Sometimes eat some fast food

is a kind of relax, but nmot too much. Try to find your favourite and enjoy

it. That will be full of fun, expect eating too much.
